Dear Pops. You are the Greatest Grandfather - that there will ever be. I just wish you were here to spend the day with us. As each day goes by, I miss you more and more. Little things you used to do and say, which I’ll never forget, brings a tear to my eye as I long to do these things with you again. Doing the vegetables today was hard, as this was something we always used to do together. I did make sure Grandmother put the cross in the brussels – I’m sure you would be impressed! We have no choice but to keep going. I just want this candle to remind everyone that although we are celebrating this Christmas, you are not forgotten. You are the light that guides and warms our hearts, even though you cannot be seen. Love you Pops. :-)
